Tasks

• Planning, evaluation and implementation of non-destructive material testing (NDT) for national and international customers

• Carrying out tests in the areas of magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, visual inspection, X-ray testing and ultrasonic testing

• Documentation of test results in written form

• Carrying out standardised tests on a wide range of materials

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational training as a materials tester or a comparable qualification.

• Proof of a certified X-ray inspection level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712 or a certification as RT film evaluator RI level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712

• Proof of certified ultrasonic testing level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712, surface crack testing (MT/PT) and visual testing (VT) advantageous

• Proof of certified ultrasonic testing phased array and / or TOFD level II according to DIN EN ISO 9712 desirable

• Qualification in RT / UT / MT / PT / VT according to ASME code desirable

• Confident user knowledge of MS Office

• Good command of English

• Possession of driving licence class B

• Willingness to work shifts and business trips (mainly national)
