Tasks

• Negotiation of quantities, prices, delivery dates and conditions to continuously improve delivery performance
• Interface function to support the development of action plans to resolve procurement difficulties by working closely with various departments
• Comprehensive follow-up management and processing of special procurements in SAP
• Performing detailed assessments to optimise supply processes and long-term partnerships
• Obtaining export classifications and licences directly from the supplier or manufacturer
• Defining spare parts requirements for civilian and military customers and ensuring material availability
• Proactively track material KPIs and initiate corrective actions to optimise material inventory and support the implementation of efficient planning strategies

Qualification

• Completed commercial or technical training, at least at the level of a technician or business administrator, ideally supplemented by additional specialist qualifications (e.g. in-depth training in relevant specialist areas)
• Alternatively, a degree in business administration or economics
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, marketing and sales, as well as sound practice in operational purchasing and procurement activities
• Sound experience in dealing with helicopter documentation (IPC, maintenance manual) and in the procurement of built-to-spec and standard parts
• Detailed user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Business fluent in German and English
• Existing work permit for the EU and willingness to occasionally travel on business
