Job description

Tasks

  • Creation and updating of work plans and Bill of Material (BoM) as well as Standard Operational Instructions (SOI) taking into account manufacturing requirements and time calculation as well as the corresponding valid regulations

  • Cooperation with the other ME FAL divisions in Hamburg and Toulouse

  • Close exchange with colleagues from China (Tianjin) in the creation and updating of work plans

  • Constant contact with the design, manufacturing and tech support teams, taking into account operational and process change needs

  • Actively participate in the financial, time, quality and ergonomic optimization of industrial processes with change actions (CI actions)

  • Ensure reliable and robust execution of manufacturing processes through regular feedback loops

  • Definition of requirements of tools and machines (jigs & tools) in the context of industrial development or optimization and their introduction into the production field

  • Phased involvement in special topics and projects in the national or international environment

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, aircraft construction, engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical course of study

  • Alternatively, completed vocational training with a master's degree as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft mechanic specializing in production technology, industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician

  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of aircraft construction, manufacturing engineering, aviation mechanics or structural mechanics (metal) at Airbus Operations

  • Initial user knowledge of SAP and knowledge of Google Workspace an advantage

  • Business fluent in German and English, Chinese desirable

  • Present work permit for the EU

  • Willingness for occasional business trips abroad (China) is required

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
