Tasks

  • Production and processing of glass and carbon fibre components
  • Application of hand laminate and vacuum injection processes
  • Manufacturing according to detailed drawings and construction specifications
  • Collaboration with the development department to develop repair methods
  • Carrying out repairs to GRP and CFRP components
  • Preparation of accompanying documentation for repair work
  • Conscientious completion of work cards
  • Carrying out integration activities for the final completion of repaired components
  • Ensuring that the components function perfectly

Qualification

  • Successfully completed training as a plastics and rubber process mechanic or similar
  • Experience in the field of fibre composites, e.g. as a carpenter with a focus on fibre composites
  • Reading and understanding drawings and accompanying documentation such as building regulations
  • Confident handling of hand laminate and vacuum injection processes
  • Mastery of common repair methods such as stock and core repairs
  • Good knowledge of occupational safety aspects
  • Experience in handling epoxies and other hazardous materials
  • Existing work permit for the EU
