Tasks

• Central interface between development, production and quality management
• Active participation in improvement projects as well as initial responsibility as project manager and representation of the Manufacturing Engineering department in cross-departmental workshops
• Creation of concepts and selection of new technologies and production processes for future-proof solutions and their implementation in the manufacturing process
• Improving existing production and assembly processes
• Analysis and optimization of work plans in SAP
• Identifying and eliminating technical overheads and production problems through targeted analyses
• Implementing PPS methods to solve production problems and supporting the team as a PPS facilitator
• Accompanying and ensuring the targets in various aircraft programs through sound technical expertise

Qualification

• Degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or production systems engineering
• Several years of professional experience in engineering, aircraft construction as well as IT and information systems, ideally with a focus on aerospace and production systems engineering
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP, including advanced functions to support efficient processes
• Business fluent in German and proficient in English; knowledge of French is a plus
• Work permit available within the European Union
