Job description

Tasks

  • Management of technical development and certification projects for the products of the "Aircraft Components" business unit of the "Original Equipment Innovation" division

  • Execution of product qualifications including qualification tests and measurements in the laboratory as well as evaluation and documentation of the results

  • Preparation of product-related technical documentation (e.g. manufacturing documentation, product specification, EB, verification documentation, etc.) taking into account the construction regulations

  • Management of technical communications with internal and external suppliers as well as design of manufacturing processes

  • Technical support of the sales department in acquisition projects

  • Co-design of procedures and processes in the area of responsibility and monitoring of compliance

Requirements

  • Completed university/technical college studies preferably in aircraft design, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or mechatronics

  • Several years of experience in mechanical development of aerospace products

  • Good knowledge of development procedures and aviation legislation, business fundamentals and interrelationships, RTCA DO-160 and aviation authority requirements

  • Confident handling of design drawing programs (preferably Solid Works) and MS Office

  • Good knowledge of English (level B2)

  • Presence of the additional qualification Human Factors
