Tasks

  •  Purchasing services and materials in indirect purchasing, primarily CAPEX requirements
  • Selecting and commissioning suppliers, including negotiating price and delivery conditions and monitoring execution
  • Drawing up and negotiating contracts
  • Performing coordination tasks with the specialist departments and suppliers
  • Carrying out tenders including the creation of framework contracts in SAP
  • Analysing the procurement market and procurement data with subsequent derivation and implementation of measures
  • Responsibility for problem solving with the specialist department and Strategic Purchasing
  • Advice and technical guidance for team members

Qualification

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training
  • ALTERNATIVELY demonstrable knowledge and skills acquired through many years of professional experience, which are to be assessed equally for the task
  • Professional experience in purchasing
  • Good knowledge of business fundamentals and interrelationships as well as in scheduling and planning
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP R3
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Willingness to undertake job-related further training and to work at home and abroad
  • Existing work permit for the EU
