Tasks

• Execution and documentation of individual upholstery work on commercial aircraft and components in accordance with technical specifications

• Carrying out production and repairs according to work cards, manuals and drawings

• Manual cutting and laying of foils, non-textile floor covers (NTFs) and carpets

• Bonding leather and foam materials 

• Sewing curtains

• Repairing cabin components such as cargo nets, bassinets and roller blinds

• Making the necessary decisions to ensure that the assigned work is carried out professionally, properly, on time and economically

• Ensuring the proper use and careful handling of equipment, machines and tools

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational training as an upholsterer or interior decorator

• Good knowledge of trade-specific regulations, accident prevention regulations and environmental protection regulations 

• Basic user knowledge of IT systems

• Business fluent in English

• Willingness to work in shifts, to work at home and abroad and to undergo further vocational training

• Existing work permit for the EU
