Job description

Tasks

• Technical management of the SAP Basis service provider
  
• Taking over administrative tasks such as installation, commissioning, job management and configurative optimization of the SAP system landscape
  
• Coordination of maintenance windows, monitoring of SLA compliance and assistance with escalations in 2nd level support
  
• Preparation of changes e.g. in the context of updates, upgrades of components as well as databases, patches, transports and release changes
  
• Monitoring and supervision of the SAP system landscape and its interfaces to non-SAP environments
  
• Implementation of performance analyses and identification of optimization potentials
  
• Error analysis and elimination of technical problems in SAP Basis
  
• Participation in the further development of the SAP system landscape and in IT projects
  
• Support of module key users and communicative link to the SAP service provider
  
• Documentation and implementation of final quality assurance measures

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies, preferably with a focus on computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics or similar
  
• Work experience as SAP Basis Administrator
  
• Knowledge in technical and professional support of SAP Basis modules, such as S/4HANA is advantageous
  
• Ideally certification as SAP Certified Technology Associate
  
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows as well as cloud environments is desirable
  
• Knowledge in the use of IT tools to support ITSM processes according to ITIL
• Very good written and spoken German
  
• Willingness to travel on business within Germany
