Strategic Purchasing Employee (m/f/x)

In this responsible role, you will use your persuasive power and entrepreneurial thinking to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Tasks

  • Strategic procurement: Development and implementation of innovative procurement strategies for the responsible product groups
  • Procurement procedures: Independent management of award procedures, including EU-wide tenders, taking into account all legal requirements
  • Market analyses: Carrying out market analyses and supplier evaluations to identify the best procurement sources and optimise tendering strategies
  • Contract negotiations: Negotiating contracts with a focus on cost optimisation, quality and meeting timelines
  • Supplier management: building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and continuously monitoring supplier performance
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all legal and internal requirements and guidelines in close cooperation with the legal department

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable university degree
  • At least two years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and procurement
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and sound knowledge of SAP (MM module)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, especially in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and offers
  • Existing work permit for the European Union
