Tasks

• Design and validation of composite and hybrid components and assemblies

• Support the monitoring of supplier activities (including concept and design acceptance)

• Collaboration on configuration and related design solutions, from concept studies to release of the definition dossier to finalisation of the modification

• Coordination and communication with interface partners, including system engineering, production as well as structural engineers and fatigue in the structural departments

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies in engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering

• Several years of professional experience in the areas of configuration management, manufacturing / production, construction and production planning and control with composite and hybrid design principles and design best practices

• In-depth user knowledge of ICC, Catia V5, vpm and PASS SSCI (successor to PDMLink)

• APS knowledge required

• Airbus experience an advantage

• Proficient in German and business fluent in English

• Present work permit for the EU

• Communicative team player with an independent, structured and result-oriented way of working as well as strong analytical skills
