Tasks

• Management of supply chain and quality aspects

• Escalation function for the other PO functions in case of repetitive problems (development of short term recovery plans) 

• Ensure industrial qualification maturity before series production phase

• Evaluate suppliers during the tender phase and participate in the selection decision as well as evaluate supplier capacity, capabilities and performance and participate in supplier development

• Initiate and lead projects to improve supplier performance, establish long-term development goals together with suppliers and in coordination with the Supplier Development Team

• Present supplier situation in terms of operational performance (KPIs, ratings, etc.) at MFT/MDT meetings

• Point of contact for suppliers on operational activities, contract management and as supplier ambassador to internal functions

Qualification

• Successfully completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field of study

• Several years of professional experience in the areas of project management, quality management and supply chain

• Knowledge of supply chain and quality management

• Knowledge of industrialization (APQP) is an advantage

• In-depth detailed knowledge of SAP

• Advanced German and business fluent English skills

• Present work permit for the EU

• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills as well as an independent, structured and result-oriented way of working and good analytical skills

• Willingness to travel on business
