  • Development of design concepts for applicants and review purposes

  • Making critical decisions on technical solutions and concepts

  • Design work, 3D modelling, 3D model assemblies, 2D design drawings and documentation of part details

  • Creation of parts lists using customer-specific standard and supplier parts catalogues

  • Making changes to existing designs and carrying out documentation for existing products

  • Conducting meetings and project-related meetings with applicants to clarify projects, discuss and define requirements

  • Design reviews and concept presentations

  • Participation in problem solving during production execution and testing

  • Troubleshooting and providing feedback to the relevant teams and assisting with root cause analysis

  • Administrative activities in connection with the daily tasks


  • Several years of professional experience in the development of tools for assembly and production purposes, e.g. tools, devices, stations, production systems, etc.

  • Several years of experience in the daily use of Siemens NX (NX12 and higher)

  • Relevant knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials and processes, manufacturability, production-orientated and cost-orientated design

  • Understanding of the tolerance system and industry standards required (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T, standard and supplier catalogues)

  • Relevant IT, computer and communication skills are expected, the necessary training will be provided

  • Business fluent in English

  • Existing work permit for the EU
