Tasks

• Checking incoming goods for visible damage through detailed black/white inspection
• Comparison of the accompanying documents with the delivered parts
• Documentation and reporting of damage and deviations
• Relocation of parts and materials as required for proper storage
• Storage and retrieval of parts and materials at the specified storage locations
• Operating simple means of transportation (industrial trucks, forklift trucks) to move and place stored goods
• Recording basic warehouse data (identity numbers, quantities and weights)
• Preparing and removing materials from storage in transport containers according to specifications, providing the necessary accompanying documents and recording warehouse issues

Qualification

• Completed training as warehouse specialist or extensive experience in the field of logistics
• Sound knowledge of MS Office, SAP R/3 and warehouse management programmes
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Possession of a valid forklift licence
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and staggered working hours
• Existing work permit for the EU
