We are looing to recruit an aircraft mechanic in Wittmund for our client. In your future position, you will be responsible for inspection phases for the A-4 Skyhawk. This position is initially limited to 4 weeks.

Task description

  • Guaranteeing the operational readiness of aircraft
  • Taking over general maintenance and servicing tasks for various aircraft components
  • Completion of inspection phases according to guidelines and company procedures on A-4 Skyhawk aircraft
  • Taking responsibility for planing and work scheduling
  • Issuing the necessary signatures for work cards according to Transport Canada procedures
  • Technical documentation in the maintenance control operational handbook

Requirements

  • Completed professional training as an aircraft mechanic or in a professional field involving metal processing
  • You must be a German citizen
  • Initial experience in assembly and disassembly, in maintenance and servicing, as well as in aviation
  • Knowledge in the field of structure desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English in order to read, understand and interpret handbooks, guidelines and procedures
  • A readiness to work shifts as well as excellent communication and social skills would complete your profile
