We are looking for a enthusiastic aircraft mechanic in Stade, who can take on the challenges faced by our customer Airbus Operations GmbH with creative and innovative ideas.

Task description

  • Preparation of the work by screening orders and drawings, upgrading components and the building site as well as testing and providing production materials
  • Positioning and adjustment of components, production and assembly of riveted connections and modules as well as the installation of secondary structural components, such as e.g. bonded brackets
  • Carrying out simple painting work, such as the sealing of screw and riveted connections
  • Executing all work in accordance with given manufacturing instructions and drawings as well as in accordance with valid aviation standards
  • Creating, tracking, giving feedback on and clarifying complaints plus documentation of all work performed

Requirements

  • Completed training as aircraft mechanic; alternatively in another metal-processing profession with job-related experience
  • Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry, in manufacturing as well as in structure assembly
  • Authorisation for the operation of lifting platforms and possession of a crane certificate are mandatory
  • Experience in dealing with CFC components is an advantage
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office
  • Good German and basic English skills
  • Willingness to do shift-work (2-shift system)
