In your future position in Gilching and occasionally at Toulouse with our customer you will be responsible for functional tests using diagnosis systems in the context of repair progress tracking.

Task description

  • Carrying out difficult repairs internally and also externally following specific guidelines

  • Taking on functional tests using diagnostic systems in the context of repair progress tracking

  • Identifying and repairing faults and, if necessary, introducing corrective measures, subject to consultation

  • Inspection of parts and components in respect of accuracy and completeness

  • Carrying out quality assurance on assembly contents in the case of internal and upstream operations, with the help of plans

  • Assessment and elimination of assembly defects of parts, component groups and components

  • Documentation and forwarding of discrepancies in technical documents

  • Mechanical and electrical assemblies, if required

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, ideally with a focus on maintenance technology

  • Several years of experience in structural construction as well as demonstrable structural knowledge

  • Confident reading of technical drawings

  • Good knowledge of German and English

  • Willingness to do overtime and to work in a 3-shift rota

  • Very willing to make business trips to Toulouse
