We are looking to recruit a motivated aircraft mechanic in the area of equipment in Hamburg who would be able to respond to the challenges set by our client, Airbus Operations GmbH, with creative and innovative ideas.

Task description

  • Preparation of tools, materials and auxiliary equipment as well as reading the orders, construction documents and regulations
  • Comparison of the stated material according to order and construction documents
  • Disassembly and assembly, calibration, setup and connection of parts and components
  • Positioning of components and assemblies as well as their mechanical finishing
  • Assembly such as measuring cables, cutting to length and equipping with plugs and cable lugs
  • Installation with screw connections
  • Creating and tracking complaints as well as issuing responses
  • Documentation of the work carried out and complaints

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, or alternatively in another professional field with relevant job experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing and production as well as in the field of aviation required
  • Experience in the area of equipment installation advantageous
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Very good German and basic English skills
  • Willingness to work shifts (two-shift rota)
