Task description

  • Pre-assembly of individual parts and subassemblies with regard to drilling, countersinking and reaming

  • Application of joining techniques such as riveting, screwing and gluing

  • Processing of universal, fitting and blind rivets as well as sealing compounds

  • Take-over of reworking, repairs and reworking

  • Work according to regulations and valid standards including quality guidelines and their documentation

Requirements

  • Completed training as aircraft mechanic in the field of production engineering or structural engineering

  • Alternative qualification as a skilled metalworker with additional qualification in riveting (joining technicians in aviation)

  • Professional experience in structural engineering essential

  • Experienced knowledge of German and English

  • Class B/3 driving licence desirable

  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends
