In your future position in Taufkirchen near Munich you will be responsible for process planning in the areas of mechanical and thermal AIT and reporting to the AIT Manager at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH.
Task description
Consolidation of external and internal AIT requirements and creation of corresponding integration procedures within the METImage project.
In cooperation with the AIT management, preparation and planning of all necessary resources
Support of the integration of the METImage telescope under clean room conditions (ISO class 5) as well as preparation of the necessary documentation
Preparation, detailed planning and execution of mechanical and thermal tests
Concept planning, design coordination and procurement support for MGSE parts
Technical supplier support for integration facility topics
Participation in test campaigns
Requirements
Degree in engineering, mechanical engineering or aerospace, alternatively technician/specialist Degree in electrical engineering/electronics
Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
Experience in integrating sensitive mechanical, optical and thermal flight hardware components and assemblies
Expertise in planning the mechanical assembly, integration and test program as well as test procedures and campaigns
Work experience in a cleanroom environment of ISO Class 8 and 5 advantageous
Familiarity with MS Office and CATIA is an advantage
Very good knowledge of English required, knowledge of German and French desirable
Willingness to work abroad and flexible working hours
