We are looking to recruit a module designer in single aisle in Laupheim for our client Diehl Aircabin GmbH. In your future job you will be responsible for implementing external and internal requirements in assembly and module functionality within defined concepts.

Task description

  • Development and design of subsystems and assemblies in the area of A350/single aisle
  • Optimisation of assemblies and modules based on systematic vulnerability assessments
  • Preparation of construction and qualification documents
  • Adaptation of existing components and assemblies in accordance with technical specifications or customer requirements
  • Assurance of coordination with other developers and departments
  • Assurance of the modularity and functionality and integration capability of internal and external assemblies
  • Documentation of specifications, product structures as well as construction and qualification documents

Requirements

  • Degree in the area of mechanical engineering, composite materials/composites or in aerospace
  • Several years of professional experience in systematic design and at least 2 years in construction
  • Experience in identifying and solving technical problems
  • Knowledge of Diehl Aircabin/Airbus methods and processes as well as of ATA25 Detail Design and ATA25 System Integration
  • Confident user of CATIA V5 and VPM A350 as well as knowledge of PDM Link SSCI and PDM Link CC
  • Basic knowledge of Taksy/Gesy/Tesy required
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter desirable
  • Good knowledge of German and English
