We are looking for you as a CAT B1-licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for Boeing 747 in Frankfurt am Main to make tomorrow's technologies faster, better and more efficient today.
 

Task description

  • Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work on components and parts of commercial aircraft of types B747/400/8
  • Analysis of defective components, assemblies and faults as well as subsequent evaluation and rectification
  • Creation of error logs
  • Replacement and replenishment of liquids
  • Dismantling and assembly of components in the areas of empennage, controls, landing gear and turbine engines as well as hydraulic and de-icing systems
  • Performance of functional tests and authorization of work
  • Ensuring the complete documentation in accordance with the permit

Requirements

  • Completed training as aircraft mechanic specialising in maintenance technology or manufacturing technology, alternatively in another profession with qualifications in this field
  • Several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial aircraft in the field of line and base maintenance
  • Qualification according to EASA Part-66 CAT B1 with valid license mandatory
  • Profound knowledge as auditor and type rating for B747/400/8
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Experienced knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift rota
