For our customer we are looking for a Classifier in the Field of Electronics in Bremen. In your future position, you will be responsible for quality control of the delivered documents as well as for checking and classification according to customs and export law.

Task description

  • Classification of goods according to the valid regulations of foreign trade law and US (re)export regulations

  • Tariffing of goods, classification of systems, assemblies and spare parts

  • Master data maintenance of foreign trade data in the merchandise management system

  • Processing Material Release Requests via SAP

  • Support in the preparation of applications and notifications to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) and to the US authorities (BES and DDTC)

  • Support of the departments in carrying out substitution tests

Requirements

  • Completed electronic training with additional qualification as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering

  • Alternative completed study of electrical engineering

  • Experience in material classification with regard to ITAR/Dual Ose/AWG/KWKG is desirable.

  • Very good technical understanding and knowledge of electronic components/assemblies

  • Good (technical) knowledge of English

  • Experienced handling of MS Office and SAP

  • Willingness to attend further training courses and business trips
