In your future position in Taufkirchen you will be responsible for the implementation of the procurement policy for hardware, software, network and telecommunications at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH.

Task description

  • Management of cross-functional project teams within the framework of national and transnational procurement projects

  • Promote compliance with Airbus General Procurement processes and assess overall supplier performance

  • Negotiation, establishment and implementation of national and transnational framework agreements

  • Development of procurement strategies for harmonised groups of materials or parts thereof

  • Provision of benchmark, cost and make or buy analyses

  • Involvement in the introduction of new procurement techniques such as e-procurement and e-catalogues

  • Monitoring of savings to ensure compliance with the obligations of the AIRBUS savings programmes

  • Monitoring of regular supplier evaluations with regard to time, cost and quality aspects

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics and Business Administration

  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, finance and contract management

  • Interest in IT-related topics

  • Safe handling of MS Office

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Knowledge of French would be an advantage

  • Willingness to undertake occasional Europe-wide missions (1x in 3 months)
