Enhance your professional success as a Commodity Manager and realise your vision together with ARTS. In your future position you will be based in Manching for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH and, among other duties, will be responsible for the whole procurement process.

Task description

  • Developing, establishing, implementing and improving commodity strategies in order to ensure short and long term competitiveness and the consistency on all procurement actions for the commodity
  • Being accountable for leading the team and the focal point for other companies regarding the commodity management
  • Implementing the procurement policy
  • Performing market analysis for global sourcing including offsets
  • Managing the sourcing and contract management
  • Contributing in monitoring and improving supplier performances
  • Identifying and leading value creation projects and supporting the product and service innovations
  • Sustaining long term relationship with suppliers
  • Ensuring risk management

Requirements

  • Degree in business management, emphasis in Commodity Management desirable
  • Long-time experience in the field purchasing, marketing and sales
  • At least 2 years of experience in production and manufacturing as well as in finance and project management
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office and SAP
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • CV in English is required
