In your future position working for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will be responsible for ensuring the configuration status can provide meaningful information on the Eurofighter.

Task description

  • Monitoring and checking product configuration from the definition phase through to delivery
  • Implementation of suitable methods, processes and tools in order to guarantee the consistency of the product/service configuration
  • Identification of elements that fall under configuration control
  • Management and coordination of operational content management activities
  • Identification of the requirements and the functional and physical characteristics of configuration-relevent elements
  • Ensuring the configuration
  • Inspection and documentation of all changes

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, or alternatively in the fields of IT, electrical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in configuration management, engineering, IT/information systems and aerospoace
  • Attendance at training courses in military and civil aviation law as well as certification procedures advantageous
  • Confident user of MS Office and PDM Link
  • Experience in PCMS required
  • Knowledge of PDM Teamcenter and software development desirable
  • Fluent command of German and English
