Add to your professional success as a cost engineer for electronics & electrics and realise your visions together with ARTS. In your future position near Munich with our client, you will be responsible for the dissipation, analysis and optimisation of the whole work flow, from procurement and logistics to production, including benchmark analysis with comparable products, among other duties.

Task description

  • Responsibility for the development of transparent cost models for all electrical and electronic components

  • Identification of solutions for the attainment of optimal production and process costs

  • Definition of cost aims across the whole value stream as well as supporting the production and strategic construction of the supplier chain

  • Cooperation within the context of scoping and tendering procedures with important suppliers and partners

  • Drive design to test initiatives

  • Close collaboration with design, procurement, production and strategy as the bases for important decisions

  • Supporting the development and establishment of company-wide standards for cost and value engineering

Requirements

  • Completed degree in electronic engineering or electrical engineering, in mechanical engineering or in engineering management

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of cost engineering, strategic purchasing or consulting

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical and electronic components

  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel, ideally also experience with ERP tools

  • Fluent command of English

  • Knowledge of German advantageous

  • Excellent analytical skills
