We are looking to recruit a consultant to work in the field of purchasing for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, in Manching. In your future position, you will be responsible for compiling error logs.
Timely processing of incoming goods subject to customs for the customs authorities and decision-making regarding classification as procedures with economic impact, e.g. free movement, inward processing, customs warehouse, return goods, recording in the customs system and release for further use
Grouping of materials and goods in tariffs
Management of the goods by means of goods statistics, using the ASSIST customs IT system
Preliminary work in preparing the customs teams for Brexit, incl. preparation of PowerPoint presentations and meetings.
Documentation of work carried out
Degree in Business Studies, or alternatively commercial training with long-term experience
At least 2 years of professional experience in logistics
Knowledge of customs required
Confident user of MS Office and SAP
Knowledge of the ASSIST customs IT systems of advantage
Fluent command of German and English
