Task description

  • manufacturing components for the aviation industry using cutting as a production process
  • maintenance work at the processing centres together with elimination of disruptions and defects on components
  • performing an initial quality inspection for the manufactured components
  • setting up and programming CNC lathes
  • monitoring the production processes
  • documenting the work

Requirements

  • completed training as cutter operator specialising in lathe technology; alternatively, in some other profession with job-related experience
  • experience in programming and retrofitting CNC lathes
  • knowledge of the following machines/controls is advantageous: Weiler DZ 67/Sinumerik 840D/Weiler DZ42/Sinumerik 840D, Gildemeister CTX/Sinumerik 840D Shop Turn, Romy/Sinumerik 840D Manual Turn, Mazak 250 QTN/Mazatrol Nexus 2, Mazak 200 integrex/Mazatrol Madrix 2
  • skilled in the use of MS Office
  • well-versed in German and basic-level English skills
  • willingness to perform shift work (3-shift system)
