We are looking to recruit a design engineer for electrical systems and components for our client, Diehl Aviation Laupheim GmbH, in Laupheim. In your future role you will be responsible for the creation of ATA 92 system integration construction documentation for Project Bombardier.

Task description

  • Creation of system integration construction documentation as part of Project A350 Floor-to-Floor Change Bricks
  • Laying cable bundles, electrical connectors and cable holders according to the electrical design requirement (EDR) specifications, equipment interface requirement documents (EIRD), pin allocation documents and wiring diagrams in 3D and 2D models
  • Creation of work packages for external service providers as well as monitoring, feedback and approval of delivered results
  • Evaluation and development of changes
  • Incorporation of test reports and deviations
  • Documentation of work carried out

Requirements

  • Degree in the area of aircraft construction, mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in systematic design as well as in electrics and construction
  • Experience in identifying and solving technical problems
  • Experience in aircraft electrics
  • Experience with ATA92 as well as with handling EDR specifications and wiring diagrams
  • Sound knowledge of CATIA V5
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter desirable
  • Good knowledge of German and English
