As a Development Engineer for production processes you help our customer in München create faster, better and more efficient products. In your future job you will be responsible for developing and optimizing productions processes for new production plants.

Task description

  • Planning of production layouts for production sites as well as simulation, development and optimization of the production flow
  • Implementation of value stream analyses and cost optimizations for production
  • Coordination with factory planning partners and respective factory heads
  • Supervision of material requirements control and coordination with supply chain management, suppliers and production team to ensure on-time delivery
  • Definition of KPIs, production efficiency measurements and design as well as implementation of new and optimized processes to improve production efficacy and reliability

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on aeronautical/industrial engineering, mechanics or production planning
  • Several years of experience in production planning and simulation as well as expertise in the design of production facilities
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and simulation software such as Vistable, Tecnomatrix Plant Simulation and Delmia
  • Fluent English
  • Curriculum vitae in English required
  • Analytical thinking and strong communication skills round off your profile
