Task description

  • Development, design and manufacture of components and assemblies for exhaust measurement, noise and emission control, including complete exhaust systems for general and commercial aviation

  • Implementation of project orders from DLR and Airbus for air and flow measurement (Gulfstream G550)

  • Design and preparation of design documentation (21/J)

  • Application for official approvals in compliance with airworthiness requirements (21/J)

  • Implementation of the design of devices and their components, as well as support in approval procedures (21/G)

  • Interface function to production, customers and suppliers (21/G)

Requirements

  • Completed studies in aerospace or mechanical engineering  

  • Ideally knowledge in development of aviation components and their certification regulations

  • Experience with the calculation programs FEM (Siemens NX12 with NX NASTRAN Solver) or construction programs CAD (Siemens NX12) is desirable

  • Fluent in German, English is desirable

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
