Enhance your professional success as a clerk in customs and realize your visions together with ARTS. In your future position at our customer in Dresden, you will be responsible for creating error logs, comparing inventory management with SAP and processing irregularities.

Task description

  • Support in the areas of incoming goods, internal transport, special warehouses, customs, export control and dispatch
  • Registration of dutiable and taxable goods and registration of these in the customs system as well as preparation of acknowledgements of receipt, unloading comments and summary declarations
  • Verifiable verification of inward processing, customs warehouse stock and processing stock
  • Preparation of export declarations and opening of transit procedures according to customs, tax and economic criteria
  • Control of import and export documents and implementation of the results of tax exemption through preferential and aviation exemption
  • Registration of income tax in intra-trade with special software and import sales tax in extra-trade
  • Maintaining the goods in the goods statistics and writing them back to the material master via SAP
  • Exchange of messages and data with the coordinating body ATLAS and the customs office


  • Completed 3 years of higher education in the field of industrial engineering, alternatively completed training e.g. as a forwarding merchant
  • Many years of professional experience and extensive knowledge in customs clearance and foreign trade
  • Completion of the required subject-specific refresher courses at the Foreign Trade Academy
  • Competent handling of MS-Office, SAP and special software for customs clearance
  • Good to very good knowledge of German and English
  • A pronounced sense of responsibility rounds off your profile
