We are looking for a documentation specialist in Immenstaad near Friedrichshafen for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. In your future position you will be responsible for managing the flow of documentation within projects.

Task description

  • Performance of all activities and tasks within the scope of project documentation

  • Support and collProvision of support and cooperation with the Configuration Manager

  • Documentation and management of the agreed standards and external data management

  • Responsibility for the updating of the internal mailing list for each document in the tool, as well as official distribution to the customer

  • Drafting and management of the official project templates, ensuring compliance of documentation with customer requirements

  • Management of project containers in Windchill and on the FTP server

  • Point of contact for documentation activities

  • Periodical monitoring of the activits, and at the request of the Head of Electronics Packaging Germany


  • Degree in communication science or administrative science

  • Alternative training in administrative and document management or related fields

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a technical and commercial consultant and in the field of technical documentation

  • Confident handling of the concept of configuration management and document control

  • Experience in the handling of large quantities of documentation, as well as organisational methodological competence

  • Confident user of MS Office and sound knowledge of configuration process tools, PLM and, in particular, Windchill

  • Fluent command of German and English

  • Willingness to go on occasional business trips
