Task description

  • Negotiating and signing procurement agreements
  • Managing the definition and ensuring implementation of contract strategies in the procurement area as well as the associated terms and conditions
  • Ensuring the relevance, quality and coherence of contracts as well as enhancing existing procurement contracts and adapting contract documents
  • Responsibility for tendering and requesting aerospace material in the MRO area for the P-3 Orion and also purchase orders for such material
  • Implementation of general data and market research for bid and order processing for spare parts in an international environment
  • Technical and commercial assessment of bids, including supplier selection, as well as support in evaluating suppliers as part of supplier evaluation and development
  • Negotiation of contract contents with the suppliers
  • Coordination with internal clients and close cooperation with customer service at P-3 Orion
  • Complying with, ensuring and monitoring the criteria on-quality, on-time and on-cost

Requirements

  • Degree in business studies, or alternatively a degree with a focus on commodity management
  • At least 3 years professional experience in purchasing, sales and marketing
  • At least 2 years expertise in financial systems, project management and in production
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent command of German and English
