Task description

  • Ensuring capability acquisition of new technologies, systems and factories for the production of primary structure components
  • Driving close cooperation between Design, Manufacturing and Supply teams to design and optimize manufacturing processes and introduce the product into domestic factories
  • Specification and provision of new production machinery and equipment for plants
  • Actively supporting the Shop Floor in all production-related aspects
  • Driving continuous improvement across the entire production network
  • Focal point to relevant functions involved, including engineering, purchase, quality, manufacturing and facility management

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering with a background in automotive/aerospace production
  • Several years’ experience in the machining of metal fans, stators, seals and casings, with 6-axis milling and surface treatments processing
  • Experience in a high-volume and highly automated production environment with expertise in dynamic planning and execution during a production ramp-up desired
  • Versed in applying time management systems (MTM and REFA)
  • Confident use of MS Office, ERP, MES and CAD
  • Fluent English
  • English CV required
