In your future position in Manching at our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, you will be responsible for testing specifications, communicating with suppliers and aersospace programs as well as coordinating test programs, among other things.

Task description

            • Assistance in the implementation of technology, development and qualification projects in the field of materials and processes such as metallic materials, additive manufacturing and corrosion protection
            • Support for obsolescence management and changing military materials and process requirements
            • Testing specifications, communicating with suppliers and aerospace programs, as well as coordinating test programs
            • Analysis of compliance with environmental regulations (REACH regulation) for the assessment of alternative solutions
            • Evaluation of material-related test results
            • Creation of test reports and presentations
            • Generation of material and process-related data and database maintenance

            Requirements

              • Degree in aeronautical engineering or materials management
              • At least 1 year of professional experience in the aerospace industry
              • Experience in aerospace technologies and related processes such as qualification, certification and standardisation
              • Knowledge of surface and coating technologies as well as metal technologies, e.g. additive manufacturing
              • Experienced in the use of MS Office
              • Fluent command of German and English
              • CV required in German and English
