We are looking for a software developer for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching. In your future position you will be responsible for system developments and requirement changes as well as provision and agreement of simulations and subsystems.

Task description

  • Provision and documentation of the system definition for the relevant simulation Items and subsystems
  • Agreement of the simulation item interfaces and definition of update plans for future software releases and harmonisation
  • Implementation of design changes as result of hardware modifications
  • Analysis of software performance as part of the weapon system simulation as well as of Simulation Item related problem reports and provision of bug-fixes
  • Incorporation of required software changes according to system requirement changes (a/c standard)
  • Performance of simulation item tests and documentation of test results
  • Preparation and modification of test cases to assess requirement changes

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or IT
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in engineering, IT and system integration processes
  • Detailed knowledge in MS Office, C, C++, ADA 95, Python and Perl
  • Experience in requirement management tool DOORS
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • CV in English is required
