Further Training Mechanic in Aviation (m/f/x)

We offer a free Compact Course in Structural Assembly at an accredited training partner as well as an airbus-specific course, which is also offered by the Airbus Industrial Academy. 

We are therefore looking for candidates who have completed vocational training in a metalworking profession. After the training, you will work for our customer Airbus Operations GmbH as an aircraft mechanic for structural assembly in Hamburg.

Task description

  • Gaining knowledge for the production of components into assemblies according to order, drawing and regulation

  • Acquisition of skills to carry out structural work on parts, assemblies or components

  • Practical application of various manufacturing processes such as drilling, riveting, countersinking or reaming

  • Further training in the processing of different fasteners

  • Production of riveted joints and application of corrosion protection 

  • Documentation of the work carried out

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession such as metalworker, construction mechanic, body builder, industrial mechanic or precision mechanic

  • Several years of professional experience in the profession you have learnt

  • Very good knowledge in metal working and processing

  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and work plans

  • Good negotiating skills in German and English

  • Craftsmanship with careful and reliable working methods
