Working as an Engineer for Airworthiness, you help our customer in the Munich area create faster, better and more efficient products. In your future job, you will lead our client's Design Organisation Approval (DOA) in accordance with EASA Part-21.

Task description

  • Heading up the certification team and promoting the certification process from the prototype stage to standardized airworthiness 
  • Planning, managing and conducting internal audits of the engineering design function as well as of engineering suppliers and services
  • Liaising with process owners to elaborate and verify corrective action plans as well as following up on said plans to ensure closure
  • Producing reports to management, highlighting any trends in findings and making recommendations for improving performance
  • Establishing and maintaining relations with regulatory EASA committees
  • Work on ad hoc related tasks or projects

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or comparable qualification in a technical field with relevant expertise
  • Familiarity with process models (e.g. V-Model), aviation processes, in particular ARP4754 and EASA Part 21 J
  • Knowledge of DO160 / 254 / 178, Part-21-related monitoring processes as well as expertise in quality management would be a plus
  • Experience with conducting audits, project management and leading a team
  • Familiarity with requirement management tools, e.g. Doors, Jira, Jama, Cradle or similar
  • Fluent English, CV in English required
  • Goal-oriented working methods, pertinent negotiation skills and analytical problemsolving skills round off your profile
