We are looking to recruit a flexible and dynamic helicopter mechanic in Donauwörth who can respond to the challenges set by our client, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH, with creative and innovative ideas.

Task description

  • Implementation of maintenance, repairs and modifications on helicopters
  • Performance of mechanical and dynamic work on components, systems and engines
  • Performance of troubleshooting, fault analyses, fault rectification and relevant adjustment work
  • Maintenance and repair of helicopter structures and components
  • Assembly and adjustment of components
  • Production of structural components according to the production plan, maintenance order and drawing
  • Support for flight operations and maintenance of the associated work documents

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, body manufacturer, motor mechanic or mechatronics engineer with several years of experience
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing and production
  • Several years' knowledge of industrial mechanics, mechanics and metalwork, as well as with the CH-53 weapons system
  • Experience with military maintenance procedures, processes and documentation desirable
  • Practical experience in helicopter maintenance and structural repairs 
  • Fluent German and advanced English skills
  • Willingness to go on long business trips to German Army bases and work in shifts completes your profile
