In your future position working in Donauwörth for our client, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH, you will be responsible for the performance of routine tests with regard to airworthiness, safety and contractual conformity, amongst other things.

Task description

  • Acceptance of civil and military MCAs and ensuring compliance with legal aviation requirements
  • Performance of initial sample inspections on internally produced assemblies as well as creation of quality notifications and initiation and monitoring of corrective measures
  • Responsibility for the assignments in the final assembly lines at the site and in some cases also externally at Airbus Helicopters
  • Creation and maintenance of test instructions as well as monitoring of production inspectors and quality gates towards the customer
  • Preparation and assurance of final conformity as well as preparation of the required delivery documentation
  • Coordination of PPS activities
  • Troubleshooting systems and equipment to maintain airworthiness
  • Implementation of change initiatives

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or electrician for aviation systems
  • Or alternatively a degree in manufacturing systems or mechanical engineering with a qualification as a master craftsman or technician
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in quality management
  • Knowledge and experience in mechanics as well as in aviation law requirements needed
  • Experience in documentation with regard to test instructions and suppliers
  • Knowledge of lean and PPS is desirable
  • Confident user of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent command of German and good knowledge of English
