We are looking to recruit a flexible lathe operator for the aviation industry in Donauwörth who would be able to respond to the challenges set by our client, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH, with creative and innovative ideas.

Task description

  • Allocation of material for the order, and optimisation of procedures
  • Equipping of the machine with tools and operation of NC-controlled lathes
  • Carrying out the complete setup and clearing process
  • Clamping of semi-finished products according to clamping plan
  • Deburring of component according to diagram
  • Independent creation of programs and documentation of the work sequence


  • Vocational training as a cutting machine operator or lathe operator, or alternatively in another profession involving metal processing with relevant job experience
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of cutting
  • Experience in the operation of NC-controlled lathes desirable
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of German
  • Basic knowledge of English advantageous
  • Willingness to work in shifts
