In your future position in the Friedrichshafen area with our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating project-related flight hardware transport.

Task description

  • Preparing and controlling transport-related work packages for individual flight hardware projects
  • Planning and coordinating project-related flight hardware transport
  • Creating transport procedures plus the overall documentation required
  • Instructing the responsible project staff plus external contractual partners on how to handle "critical products"
  • Preparing and carrying out reviews as part of project-related flight hardware transport
  • Organising and clarifying the necessary customs activities associated with project-related flight hardware transport in collaboration with incoming goods and dispatch
  • Checking compliance with the AIT-relevant logistics processes for aerospace projects

Requirements

  • Degree in economics or business studies
  • At least 2 years' professional experience in logistics plus knowledge of the transport sector and customs as well as dealing with international traffic in arms regulations
  • An understanding of logistics and transport with an emphasis on the areas of air freight and road transportation
  • Technical understanding of mechanical and electronic components, mechanisms and functional systems
  • Knowledge of dealing with components in clean rooms and ESD protected areas
  • Knowledge of standard procedures in the aviation industry
  • Confident user of MS Office and SAP
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
