We are looking to recruit a mechanic for space technology in Friedrichshafen for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. In your future position you will be responsible for providing mechanical support when integrating test structures, amongst other things.

Task description

  • Inspection of work documents as well as preparation and cleaning of components for space mechanisms
  • Independent assembly of modules for the integration of mechanisms in accordance with specifications and instructions
  • Mechanical support when handling and integrating mechanisms
  • Collaboration during preparation and execution of qualification and acceptance tests in the field of mechanical and thermal verification
  • Involvement in testing campaigns
  • Implementation of all work in accordance with current working regulations
  • Preparation of process related documentation

Requirements

  • Training in a mechanical profession, preferably with a qualification as a technician
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in mechanics and satellite integration
  • Basic experience in the field of measurement data recording, analysis and evaluation, as well as knowledge of mechanical standard procedures in aviation
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Fluent command of German and very good knowledge of English
  • A structured and result-oriented way of working should round off your profile
