We are looking to recruit a mechanic in military helicopter maintenance for our client, Airbus Helicopters GmbH, in Donauwörth. In your future position you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, testing and assembling helicopter components.

Task description

  • Responsibility for regular or irregular maintenance of flying aircraft with regard to maintenance plan, repair procedures, components, assemblies and parts

  • Preparation of repaired, maintained or upgraded aircraft for delivery 

  • Integration of components, assemblies or parts for the body of the aircraft

  • Carrying out of system and aircraft troubleshooting, troubleshooting and first level quality control

  • Use of manual tools or machines for fitting and assembling parts

  • Structural repair and system repair activities

  • Cooperation in dismantling and assembly activities, inspections of aircraft parts and airline activities for tests and controls 


  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of helicopter mechanics, maintenance and repair as well as in the aerospace industry 

  • Knowledge of military maintenance procedures, processes and documentation

  • Experience in compliance with policies and rules

  • B1 licence desirable

  • Fluent command of German and good knowledge of English
