We are looking to recruit an inspector for aviation equipment for our client Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth. In your future position you will be responsible for checking civilian aircraft components and equipment.

Task description

  • Execution of tests on civil equipment, components and parts as well as their release to ensure contractual conformity, airworthiness, traffic safety and compliance with air law requirements within the scope of the authorisations
  • Definition, creation and management of test records for aircraft documentation
  • Creation and processing of quality and deviation notifications and, if necessary, initiation of corrective and preventive measures
  • Development of quality statistics and preparation and evaluation of information on the current status of quality-related data regarding the cause of failure rates, reworking and costs
  • Performance of quality inspections and findings on materials, components and assemblies using destructive and non-destructive test processes by applying the corresponding QM system
  • Implemenation of quality management tasks such as continuous improvement of existing test procedures
  • Preparation of delivery, incoming goods, acceptance and quality regulations for internal and external suppliers
  • Support with construction and production planning for quality-oriented design

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or industrial mechanic with a qualification as a master or engineer
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in aircraft construction as well as quality management and quality assurance
  • CAT B1 licence absolutely required
  • Confident user of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent command of German and good knowledge of English
  • Willingness to work shifts
