In your future position in Frankfurt am Main at our client Lufthansa Technik AG, you will be responsible for the recording of findingd and troubleshooting for aircraft wheels and brakes, amongst other things.

Task description

  • Professional, timely and cost-effective performance of non-destructive material tests on aircraft wheels and brakes
  • Application of various test procedures such as eddy current, ultrasound, colour penetration and magneto-inductive tests
  • Independent recording of findings and troubleshooting of aircraft wheels and brakes in the scope of the provided
    qualification
  • Use in all areas of crack detection
  • Documentation and archiving of test results, protocols and reports in various IT systems
  • Execution of all work according to CMM and other valid working documents in English

Requirements

  • Vocational training as a materials tester
  • Qualification as an NDT crack inspector with at least level 1 (aviation standard EN4179) required
  • Several years of professional experience in materials testing and as an NDT inspector
  • Very good knowledge of one or more of the above procedures with proof of operating times, ideally in the field of wheel and brake maintenance
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Fluent German and advanced English skills
  • Willingness to work shifts (two-shift rota)
