We are looking to recruit a Quality Manager in aviation for our client, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH, in Donauwörth. In your future position, you will be responsible for the monitoring of KPIs by means of defined targets and the introduction of optimisation processes in the case of deviations, among other duties.

Task description

  • Definition and monitoring of Quality Gates in close collaboration with the project management, including the establishment of quality targets
  • Definition and management of quality KPIs to ensure deliveries as well as monitoring KPIs by means of defined targets
  • Regular reporting regarding the status of the programme quality to the HO programme and the HO quality divisions
  • Monitoring of and adherence to client process specifications through clear specification guidelines
  • Introduction and leadership of the Corrective Action Board (CAB) as required
  • Coordination of client audits and client visits in relation to programme quality
  • Creation and release of quality-relevant documents
  • Participation in the programme's complaints process and risk management process


  • Completed degree in the field of engineering, aviation, astronautics or in industrial engineering

  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, in project management, quality management, and in quality assurance

  • Knowledge of the fields of Requirement Management, APQP, business improvement, data visualisation and configuration management

  • Confident user of MS Office and SAP

  • Fluent command of German and English

  • A CV in English is required
