For our customer Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for an Engineer in the Tools and Equipment division in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel who will meet the challenges with an understanding of business administration and entrepreneurial thinking.

Task description

  • Planning, development and modification of equipment and devices for disassembly and assembly for the repair of engine parts

  • Management and cooperation of projects within the scope of repair development

  • Implementation of the capacity expansion of motor lines and shops

  • Optimization of workflows and processes in resource planning and development

  • Documentation of equipment and devices

  • Specification, tendering and procurement of equipment and devices

Requirements

  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering

  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in project management and fixture construction, is desirable

  • Sound knowledge of business management interrelationships

  • Know-how in CAX (Siemens NX, Solidworks, Siemens Teamcenter)

  • Good knowledge of the general design and machine guidelines

  • Knowledge of the individual engine parts to be machined, their materials and the repair procedures used is desirable.

  • Very good knowledge of German and English
